We All Belong to Each Other

My curiosity surrounding the library of books that make up the Bible can be borderline classified as obsession. In all my lifetime I will never know all there is to know. What I do know, at this moment, is that the Bible is a story about political oppression, suffering, liberation, eyes opening, doing work, transcending, transforming, including and Love.

I have only lived this one life.

I have given my life to following a Middle Eastern refugee.

Oppression does not get the last word. Suffering does not get the last word.

The answer to the question is yes. Yes, we are our brother's and sister's keeper. We all belong to each other.

I don't get it right all the time but I can think of no greater time to be about the business of doing greater works.

------

"I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father"

John 14:12

May your days be filled with compassion, your faith remain strong and may growth be your compass.
